Ciplar La is a beta blocker. The medicine uses propranolol as the active ingredient. This active ingredient is sold by different names from various manufacturers. Ciplar La is manufactured by Cipla, India. The medication is available as 40 mg tablets in packs of 30, 60, and 90 tablets. The beta blockers present in this drug restrain the stimulation of adregenic receptors that mainly causes cardiac action. This drug has other uses; many doctors prescribe it for treating glaucoma, anxiety disorders, migraines, certain type of tremors and hyperthyroidism.

It is very important to follow the exact instructions of the doctor while taking this medicine. Without the advice of the doctor the dosage or the time of consumption should not be changed. People prone to easy allergies should avoid this medicine or inform the doctor about the allergies before taking this medicine. Taking too much of Ciplar La is not good for the health as an overdose of propranolol can cause severe damage to the body. Certain symptoms of overdose difficulty in breathing, seizures, dizziness, bluish tint in fingernails, irregular heartbeat, abnormal weakness, etc. The drug may also affect reflexes in the body and cause problems when you are driving or running any machinery.  If any abnormal side effects or indications are visible, calling the doctor and consulting him is the best way.
